Basel Holiday Pass at SNI During the summer holidays, SNI participated in the Basel Holiday Pass program for the first time – with an exciting workshop on the world of mi- croscopy! Together, we built a Foldscope, collected samples outside, and examined them with various microscopes – from simple to high-tech! A special highlight was taking a look at the smallest details with the atomic force microscope, which allowed us to see structures smaller than a thousandth of a hair.
